Politically, we were able to provide impetus for skilled labor location marketing, the Saxon Integration and Participation Act, the Equal Opportunities Act and the Skilled Immigration Act. The 2022 district council elections in Saxony kept us busy and it was important for us to call people to the polls.
Our FIZUs were objectively at the side of employers and labor market players when it came to overcoming legal, bureaucratic and structural hurdles in the integration of people from abroad.
We rolled out educational workshop formats that focused on respectful cooperation within the companies. The portfolio of topics ranges from everyday discrimination to cooperative behavior in the workplace and civil courage in public. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the NDC and the Weltoffenes Sachsen program.
In total, we offered around 110 formats for our target groups over the course of the year and succeeded in making an impact beyond Saxony.
2022 was a year of growth for the association. Thanks to our member companies, the many collaborations and our strategic partners. We have strengthened our network and sustainably positioned its interests and positions in the political arena.
