As part of his Master’s degree, a Syrian guest student from Chemnitz University of Technology completed his internship semester at the company. Due to his specialization in telecommunications and cloud computing, but above all due to his multilingualism, he was an excellent fit for the existing international team.

He quickly gained great acceptance as a ‘mediator’ by acting as an intermediary between customer wishes and requirements and the development department, thus bringing together the different ‘worlds of thought’. Engineers wanted! – After an unsuccessful search for skilled workers in Germany, several engineers were recruited through our own job fair in Spain. In the course of the economic and financial crisis at the time, well-trained specialists were recruited who have now been employed in Hellerau for several years.

This also opened up the workforce internationally, after many years of pursuing a wide range of international projects. The relocation was organized within the workforce. In addition to company-specific training, support was provided in finding accommodation, dealing with the authorities and learning the language, thus ensuring good integration into the workforce. Arriving, finding their feet and feeling at home are the challenges for new employees – no matter where they come from.
