We were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the unexpected death of our Board Spokesman Andreas von Bismarck. Andreas von Bismarck was one of the founding members of the Wirtschaft für ein weltoffenes Sachsen e.V. association. He was also responsible for Terrot GmbH in Chemnitz as Managing Partner.

In Andreas von Bismarck, we are losing a strategic driving force who has been committed to a cosmopolitan Saxony with dedication and attitude since the association was founded in 2016. It is thanks to his efforts that the association quickly grew into a stable business network with a clear commitment to a cosmopolitan and international Saxony that promotes social cohesion and supports the integration of immigrants into the workforce, among other things. It was also his intention to improve the reputation of the Saxon economy on a national and international level in order to secure prosperity in Saxony.

Our thoughts are with his family, his daughters and those who were close to him until the end. We wish them strength in this difficult time.
Andreas von Bismarck’s funeral will be held in a small family circle. A memorial service for Andreas von Bismarck will be held in Chemnitz. We will inform you in good time.

Until further notice, Markus Rustler, previously Deputy Spokesman of the Board and Managing Director of Theegarten-Pactec GmbH & Co. KG, will take over the role of Spokesman of the Board of the Wirtschaft für ein weltoffenes Sachsen association.
