What can we do together in Saxony to be an attractive business location? What can we do for our supra-regional image? How can we work together to integrate international specialists more efficiently and quickly? How can we solve intercultural challenges in everyday life and develop an understanding for people from other cultural backgrounds? We discussed these and other questions with our esteemed Prof. Dr. Hans Vorländer and around 60 participants at the Parliamentary Evening on 4 July 2023 at the Alte Meister restaurant.

The audience enthusiastically discussed: How does social media affect the radicalization of the population and what can we do to integrate rural regions more into the political process? Questions that can hardly be discussed at length in a short format; questions that will certainly continue to concern us in the Economy for a Cosmopolitan Saxony.

Saxony offers a home to people from different regions of the world. The future of the Free State is therefore also determined by immigrants who contribute their skills, knowledge and culture, thereby helping to shape our living space in a variety of ways and maintain our standard of living.
