New employees at the specialist information centers in Dresden and Leipzig

What I particularly enjoy about working at the Immigration Information Center is the exchange with the various stakeholders. This makes the work very multifaceted and varied. In addition to advising individuals and companies, the exchange with official bodies, authorities and other associations is not only an everyday occurrence, but also the basis for good cooperation in order to find solutions together.

I work at the Immigration Information Center because it allows me to tackle two of today’s challenges together: By advising individuals on their residency, education and employment opportunities, I create prospects for the future. By advising employers, I support them in the process of recruiting skilled workers and thus help to meet the demand for labor. Together we all win.

The shortage of skilled workers is omnipresent and has long since ceased to be limited to certain occupational groups, which is why immigration is a very important issue. From my own experience, I know that there is a great deal of uncertainty among many companies when it comes to hiring employees from abroad. As an advisor at the Immigration Information Center, I would like to help companies navigate the jungle of paragraphs in residence law and at the same time help immigrant professionals feel at home in Saxony because they have found great career prospects here.
