The 7th day of action took place on October 21, 2023. The Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts made its premises and infrastructure available.

Kompliz* was concerned with the upcoming elections in Saxony: The next state elections will be held on September 1, 2024, while the next local elections will take place on June 9, 2024 – at the same time as the European Parliament elections. Many are worried about the election year.

Kompliz* therefore held a monothematic day of action on the topic of the Saxony 2024 super election year and asked itself:

What were the last campaigns in 2019? What was successful, what was not? What is already planned for the 2024 election? What would be good? Where is it worth investing resources? and Who or what is needed?

After a factual introduction to current survey results, the tried and tested “Take 5” format (5-minute contribution with 5 images) focused on ideas for the election year, observations, but also fears. If you, as a future speaker, would like to present the experiences and ideas of your initiatives, associations or institutions at “Take 5”, please send your request to: i.luft@kompliz.de In the afternoon, concrete ideas were discussed in the workshops and, in particular, strategies and concrete formats for addressing various target groups, including in public spaces, were discussed with artists.
