The specialist has a bachelor’s degree in obstetrics and more than 3 years of professional experience, including in high-risk births of mothers with high blood pressure and epilepsy.
To work as a midwife, the specialist requires recognition of their qualification. The qualification is partially equivalent to a German qualification. For full equivalence, she can complete an adaptation period of 16 months. At least 10 months of this must be spent in practical training and at least 30 deliveries must be carried out independently. Alternatively, she can take a knowledge test.
During the qualification, the person can already be employed as an assistant.
The specialist speaks Persian at native speaker level and German at level B1.
